For this, Tony shows you how to insert long aluminum channeling into the “steel” girders that span your bridge. This tough, rigid material can be purchased at a number of commercial locations for cheap and cut according to the length you need. Tony demonstrates the best way to adhere short pieces of girder to the exterior of the channel and fit the entire structure into a base for your model railroad bridges, then teaches you the best way to adjust kit braces to accommodate the distance from the bridge to the ground so they’re as sturdy as possible.
