What We Do

Our goal is simple, to share our passion for model railroading with you through our extensive library of high-quality instructional videos, layout tours and more!

We’ve teamed up with some of the top modelers in the hobby, including Allen Keller.

Who is Allen Keller?

Allen is a pioneer in the model railroad industry. He got started in the model train video production work with Model Railroader magazine back in the early 1980s after working in TV news for 11 years. He worked as a reporter, anchor and when he left he was News Director in charge of the entire news operation.

For most of the years (whether for Model Railroader magazine or Hopewell Productions or finally Allen Keller Productions) he was privileged to visit and document some of the most outstanding model railroads in America. For Allen, it was a wonderful experience meeting the owners and showcasing what they have contributed to the hobby. Perhaps the best part of seeing all of these layouts was putting them into a format that you could enjoy. So many customers told Allen that they saw layouts they never would have seen and if they saw them in person the coverage and view would not have been as good.

So you could say that Allen may have spent more time with more model railroads up close and personal than anyone else in the hobby.

Allen’s personal joy from this work was recording forever the railroads of some of the greats in the hobby. These Fallen Flags have been torn down or undergone drastic changes, but the originals still exist on Keller videos. That is a source of great comfort to Allen and I hope to you.
