10 Things Every Model Railroader Must Do After Laying Track

1. Add fall protection to hidden tracks.
2. Test trackwork by systematically running different trains.
3. Add extra power feeds to problem sections.
4. Upgrade wheelsets for reliability.
5. Run test sessions.
6. Install buffers at track ends.
7. Adjust riser height.
8. Install trackside cameras.
9. Create trackside inspection car.
10. Install under-layout storage.
