Now that we’ve made our way from Durango to Silverton via D&RGW Railroad, with Doug highlighting some of the essential towns and stations he created along the tracks, it’s time to let Extra 464 West do the talking. With its new haul in tow, watch our lead engine take off from Silverton back down the slopes as it heads for Durango in real time.

You’ll see 464 power along the main line as it would in Doug’s regular demonstrations, stopping off and completing its checks and pickups in Tacoma, Rockwood and Hermosa on the way to its final station.
