These layouts were so enjoyable to see. I’m 82 and many years ago I had a small but nice layout with several tears on four 4×8 sheets of plywood. I still have many buildings and engines. I have no idea how much track and 15 remote switches all HO. Would love to get back into it again someday.

Love your MODEL RAILROAD web page , but why do the writers of this web page have to put the word ( TEMP ) in front of other words , I don’t get it.

You should add a viewer speed control, so we can speed up our viewing time. These videos are too darn slow.

I would like to switch over to a digital system. I have an older Lionel set going around the inside of my 32 x 40 garage. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is very nice. My plan is to build a track that has a incline and descend from 6500ft to 8500ft and actually climb a mountain? What percentage of grade could I use for a 50 mile trip one way?

      Hey Sherril,

Here’s what the experts had to say about your question:

Well a 2% gradient in considered a maximum for scale trains and the real ones as well.
