This is very nice. My plan is to build a track that has a incline and descend from 6500ft to 8500ft and actually climb a mountain? What percentage of grade could I use for a 50 mile trip one way?

      Hey Sherril,

Here’s what the experts had to say about your question:

Well a 2% gradient in considered a maximum for scale trains and the real ones as well.

I would like to switch over to a digital system. I have an older Lionel set going around the inside of my 32 x 40 garage. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You should add a viewer speed control, so we can speed up our viewing time. These videos are too darn slow.
